We at Brantley Cleaners want to ensure the safety of our team members, customers and the communities we service.  Our stores will run with reduced hours of operation to allow our staff to stay at home as much as possible while still servicing our clients as an “Essential Business”.

No same-day service is available at this time and turnaround times will be longer than normal. Our Pickup & Delivery services are still on their regular schedules. We hope you are patient with us during these times.

For our Customers we offer:

  • Curbside drop off and pickup by calling ahead and letting us know you are on the way
  • Free Pick-up and Delivery services. Sign-up info below
  • Credit Card payments available at all locations for quick transactions
  • Household cleaning for your bedspreads, Comforters and blankets
  • Wash, Dry & Fold service for your sheets, towels and laundry

Our Eco-Friendly Cleaning Process: 

Per the CDC, high heat temperatures kill any living bacteria on clothing and textiles. With that being said, we are certain that our dry cleaning process will kill any viruses and bacteria on your items. Additionally due to our two step process, dry cleaning and then pressing, your items will go thru a heat cycle twice.

If you or someone in your household have been affected by COVID-19 or has had exposure, please let our team member know immediately at the time of drop off so we can keep your clothes separate during the dry cleaning process.

Do I Need to Clean My Wool Coats?

However, these coats require special care to make sure that dust and dirt are cleaned off properly. After all, wool coats are an expensive investment, often a lifetime use purchase. Be gentle with these coats, storing them properly and they will serve you well. Part of taking good care of your coat involves cleaning them properly. A mere brush with a lint roller doesn’t quite cut it. Often, small particles of dust, food residue, and bacteria can find their way onto the coat and never make it out. However, wool coats cannot simply be cleaned in a washing machine. The heat and motion of the washer and dryer damage the coat and give a high possibility of shrinking. Dry cleaning ensures proper cleansing of wool coats. What does “spot clean only” mean?

A “Spot Clean Only” care label is typically found on higher end designer clothing. Sometimes these garments are hand-made, fragile, contain delicate lace, or other types of decorative trims. “Spot Clean Only” means that the item can’t be safely submerged in any type of commercial cleaning machine. It must be cleaned by hand using a local spotting agent along with steam and air drying. There may be residual watermarks from the cleaning solvents or the area that was cleaned will still stand out because it is cleaner than the rest of the garment.

So What Can You Do?
Before you purchase a garment with a “Spot Clean Only” tag, ask a salesperson what their suggestion is for cleaning the garment. Find out if the garment can be returned if there is no way to clean it satisfactorily. It’s also important when wearing a “Spot Clean Only” item that you’re careful not to get the item heavily soiled or spotted since it cannot be dry cleaned or laundered.
